Introducing: Iron Mountain's Eco Box

At Iron Mountain, we’re always looking for ways to improve our own environmental performance within our operations. We’re proud to announce our new Eco Box, made from 65% recycled materials and 35% from sustainably managed forests. It’s certified by the Forest Stewardship Council^® (FSC^®), a group that works to ensure forests are properly and responsibly maintained to meet economic needs, conserve biodiversity and preserve species, while also taking into account land rights and the rights of indigenous communities and workers. Our new boxes will have the same functionality and durability of our current boxes and will be available to our customers in Fall 2021.

Boxes and labels

You can purchase an Iron Mountain box and an RFID label to accompany the Iron Mountain box. With RFID you can verify the location of your physical assets and demonstrate the controls you’ve placed over your inventory.

Prepare the information you want to store offsite by putting it in an approved storage box and applying an RFID label. This enables a repeatable audit process by leveraging the RFID chip within the box label. You’ll be able to provide proof of controls and prove your security requirements with the utmost confidence.
