Iron Mountain announced that its content services platform, Iron Mountain InSight (InSight), is now available to customers as a Software as a Service (SaaS) offering on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Company deepens work with AWS, helps customers to accelerate their journey from physical to digital on a global scale

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Iron Mountain (NYSE: IRM), a global leader in innovative storage, data centre infrastructure, asset lifecycle management and information management services, announced that its content services platform, Iron Mountain InSight (InSight), is now available to customers as a Software as a Service (SaaS) offering on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Through this expanded effort, Iron Mountain InSight is enabling customers to leverage end-to-end services, including managing their entire information lifecycle for both physical and digital content to accelerate their digital journeys and to capture greater value from their data stored on AWS.

Iron Mountain InSight on AWS enables companies to accelerate digital transformation through increased visibility and control over their data, ensuring more informed decision making. The platform consolidates physical storage, scanning, ingestion and digital storage into a single operation, delivering transparency into where physical and digital assets are at all times. This reduces risk, drives compliance and provides businesses with a centralised view of information now accessible on AWS. Iron Mountain InSight supports customers no matter where they are in their digital journey, whether just starting to digitise physical assets or working to fully automate and transform their business, including an artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) driven intelligent digital mailroom. Using AWS AI/ML with Iron Mountain InSight, Iron Mountain will enable the customers to extract the text and data from scanned documents in more than 50 languages and in many file formats including PDF, TIFF, Microsoft Office, etc. The customer will have the ability to search and unlock value from the data stored on Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3). The AWS services that power Iron Mountain InSight solution include Amazon Textract, Amazon Comprehend, Amazon Transcribe and Amazon Rekognition.

We’re excited to see Iron Mountain InSight expand its offering on AWS, which will continue to enable HMCTS to easily manage our physical and digital information.

This is a new opportunity for HMCTS to enhance the Find a Will service, which is used by over 11,000 users per month, bringing more features and improved usability.

I have worked closely with Iron Mountain and listened to users’ feedback since the upgrade went live in February 2022, to ensure that necessary improvements have been delivered.
