How it works
Our comprehensive process ensures security, cleanliness, and compliance:
- Data sanitization
Using NIST 800-88 standards, we fully sanitize data-bearing devices to remove all sensitive information. - Physical cleaning
Assets are cleaned, with asset tags removed as needed. - Logistics
Iron Mountain receives, scans, and verifies each item and sends an audit report and a certificate of sanitization to the customer within 60 days. Assets are then packaged and shipped to our charitable partners.
Custom donation options
For donations to a customer-specific charity, pricing is available upon request.
