In the media: Iron Mountain Entertainment Services offers scholarships to the next generation of music producers, engineers and archivists

In a recent article on Billboard, Iron Mountain Entertainment Services (IMES) recently announced the sponsorship of four full scholarships for 1500 Sound Academy’s “On-Campus Music & Industry Fundamentals Program, DJ Fundamentals Program or Vocal Performance Program”. 1500 Sound Academy is a renowned education institution based in California headed by Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter producers James Fauntleroy and Larrance “Rance” Dopson and entrepreneur Twila True.

"The 1500 Sound Academy is leading the way for the next wave of leaders in the business of music,” said Lance Podell, SVP & GM of IMES. “We are honored to partner with them and fund student scholarships, as well as provide our Smart Vault solution to all of the students and faculty. Too often we hear about lost lyrics, songs or assets. Our support will provide the solution and training to help a new generation of creators in the discipline of archival preservation, which is a critical but often overlooked aspect of building a music career.”
