Iron Mountain sponsors 2023 research exploring the changing perceptions of risk management

In this year’s research sponsored by Iron Mountain, Economist Impact (the research arm of The Economist) provides a strong message about the heightened attention given to risk over the past three years from more than 650 executives around the world. According to the research, 90% of executives say they are now, more than ever, concerned about the impact that risks associated with technology, cybersecurity, sustainability, data management, physical workspaces, and employee well-being can have on their reputation.

The study also found that 77% of respondents agree that risk management spans the entire organization, yet over half admit that their organization needs to improve cross-functional collaboration and only 46% have invested in the creation of enterprise-wide risk management teams.
