Our pricing model allows us to be flexible in providing a service to meet retention schedule requirements based on both business function and jurisdictional coverage.

Retention Use Case

Background

A law firm was asked by their client to provide retention periods for six additional jurisdictions to add to their existing Records Retention Schedule.

Iron Mountain Solution

Our Information Governance consulting team utilised Iron Mountain’s Global Research Service database to obtain the relevant legal and regulatory retention requirements, which we call ‘citations’.

The consulting team mapped the citations to the client’s own classification scheme and provided the retention periods for 100+ Record Classes across all six new jurisdictions.

The final record retention scheme was provided as a PDF and XML report.
