Behind the Mountain - Kebaabetswe Molokwane

On a personal level, I am a mom, an enthusiast and a creative. As of 2019, I am managing the Customer Service department, which means I am taking care of all of our region wide clients and making sure their needs are in line with our goals and strategies. One of my biggest achievements within the company is setting up an amazing customer service team and supporting my team gradually transition into their own personal growth and learning journeys. I do not want to hold their hand; I want to be next to my team, as they flourish as the best version of themselves.

One of the reasons I like working at Iron Mountain is the massive growth the company is experiencing but also as an individual it is a learning experience every step of the way. However, most importantly, what I love about Iron Mountain is the people and the human aspect across the globe. We all unite and work incredibly hard together to make sure both our customers and our colleagues are happy and gain as much value as possible out of the objectives we are trying to achieve.

Over the couple of years I have been a part of an amazing development, the South African team has undergone. Firstly, we have added new exciting systems and solutions to better serve our customers and help them obtain their goals. Moreover, Iron Mountain has grown tremendously regarding diversity.

Diversity is very close to my heart and is extremely important to me. Behind the Mountain, I am open to giving every person a platform and a voice to speak up. I want every single person to be himself or herself and bring what you are able to offer to the table. Show us how you can innovatively add value to the company, and mostly how to be Customer Centric.

Looking forward, I would love to see more women in power. Iron Mountain already greatly prioritizes diversity growth and I would love to see more women in strategic positions.
