Iron Mountain invests in Ooredoo’s MENA data center expansion

Ooredoo Group has entered into a strategic agreement with Iron Mountain, a global leader in information management services, under which Iron Mountain will acquire a minority stake in Ooredoo’s carrier-neutral data center business, MENA Digital Hub. This collaboration will use Iron Mountain’s global infrastructure management skills with Ooredoo’s local knowledge to propel hyperscale and AI data center growth in MENA.

The agreement would position MENA Digital Hub to meet the growing regional demand for digital infrastructure, driven by increasing cloud adoption and AI applications. Iron Mountain will provide specialized expertise in planning, building, and managing data centers, ensuring that the expansion aligns with evolving global standards.
